Wright, Fladeland head to National Jr. High Rodeo

Dalton Wright and Nicole Fladeland of Watford City will be competing with the North Dakota National Junior High Rodeo Team in the 7th annual National Junior High Finals Rodeo in Gallup, N.M., from June 26 to July 2.
Wright is North Dakota’s state champion in bull riding, while Fladeland is the state champion in pole bending.
Featuring more than 1,000 contestants from 47 states, Canadian provinces and Australia, the National Junior High Finals is the world’s largest junior high rodeo. In addition to competing for more than $75,000 in prizes, NJHFR contestants will also be vying for more than $100,000 in college scholarships and a chance to be named the National Junior High Finals Rodeo Champion.
