Watford City’s varsity girls volleyball team may have lost its first match of the season last Tuesday as the Wolves fell to Killdeer 3-2, but Nancy Deutsch, Wolves head coach was very pleased with her team’s performance.
“We won the first game and played very well against Killdeer for the most part,” stated Deutsch. “We had trouble handling Killdeer’s serves but now we know what we have to be working on in practice.”
The Wolves’ next action will be on Saturday, Sept. 12 when Watford City hosts an invitational tournament.
