Girl golfers win Northwest Conf.

Watford City’s girls varsity golf team won the Northwest Conference Meet, which was played at the Fox Hills Golf Course in Watford City on Monday, May 4, with a score of 444.
Finishing in second place was New Town with a score 448, while Stanley was third with a score of 453.
Kendra Foreman and Kasi Sorenson placed in the top six individually for the Wolves with scores of 104 and 109, respectively.
Last Friday, the Wolves took third place at the Stanley Invitational with Kasi Sorenson carding a 18-hole score of 107 to take third place individually and help lead the Wolves to a third place team finish.
Sorenson fired an opening round score of 58 and then came back with a 49 in the second round to lead Watford City in scoring. Also scoring for Watford City was Kendra Foreman, 114; Jayden Uhlich, 122; and Olivia Gronos, 125.
