Levi Wilson

Levi Wayne Wilson, infant son of Lee and Melissa Wilson, became one of God’s tiniest angels on March 5, 2011, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, with Reverend Patrick Schumacher celebrating. Burial took place in Mandan Union Cemetery.
Levi was born Feb. 20, 2011, blessing us with an amazing amount of pride, joy, strength, and love in the short amount of time we shared with him. We are truly proud of the fight in our little man. We find comfort in knowing what a great young man he would have become. Levi would have been our hunting and fishing buddy, most likely to spot an antler shed before his Mom and Dad. He’d have kept Dad busy working on trucks and playing with Mom until she was dizzy. Levi is one of the greatest loves we will ever know and for that, we thank him.
Blessed to have shared his life are his parents, Lee and Melissa Wilson, Mandan; grandparents, Mervin and Janice Schonert, Beulah and LeRoy and Vernette Wilson, Watford City; great-grandma, Eleanor Moos, Mandan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Levi was greeted in Heaven by his uncle, Wayne Schonert.
We are thankful for all of the wonderful support from our family, friends, and the doctors and nurses at St. Alexius. We are truly blessed.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests donations to the St. Alexius NICU in memory of Levi.
