Borgny enjoyed needlepoint, which she learned on her first trip to Norway in 1978. She stitched Norwegian keepsakes for all of her family. She also enjoyed bowling with her friends and their fun trips to Las Vegas. She was a member and officer of the V. F. W. Auxiliary.
In the mid 1990’s, Arnold and Borgny moved to the Granli farm where she loved her gardening, pickling, pie baking, and driving the occasional tractor.
