Elna lived there for eight years and had met many friends there that were like family to her.
In June of 2013, Elna returned to Watford City, N.D., to live at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Nursing Home for 8 months. In February of 2014, Elna moved to warm, sunny Palm Springs, Calif. where she resided at the Brookdale Senior Living, until her death.
