Bruce White

Bruce White, 44, of rural Alexander, N.D., died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at Medcenter One in Bismarck, N.D. Friends may sign the online register book and give their condolences at www.fulkersons.com
Cremation has taken place. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Alexander. Rev. Tim Swenson will officiate and inurnment will be later this spring in the Garden churchyard Cemetery, northeast of Watford City, N.D.
Bruce Darwin White was born in Watford City, N.D., on July 19, 1965, to Boyd and Carol (Aagvik) White.  He died on Feb. 13, 2010, at Medcenter One in Bismarck, N.D. Bruce attended school in Watford City and graduated in 1983. He also attended the State School of Science in Wahpeton, N.D.
Bruce had various jobs when he was younger and worked as a derrickhand for many years from California to North Dakota. He also worked as a carpenter and roofer in Montana and North Dakota. He was currently employed by Construction Services Inc. in Watford City. Bruce took a great deal of pride in his work.
Bruce was a “motorhead” and a Harley man. He loved reading about, working on, collecting and driving anything with an engine in it. He was also a gun enthusiast and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and just driving around the countryside. He had recently acquired a fondness for photography and bird watching. He was happiest working on improvements at his and Cindy’s home near Rawson, N.D.
Bruce was devoted to his family and friends. He could always be counted on to lend a hand, a shoulder or to share a laugh.
Bruce was a member of Garden Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his fiancé, Cindy (Gilstad) Rhodes; daughter, Megan Thompson of Duluth, Minn., step-daughter, Cristin Jeannotte of Bozeman, Mont.; sister, Deb (Doyle) Hagen of Watford City, N.D.; brothers, Clark White, Loveland, Colo.; Dean (Carolyn) White, Whitewood, S.D., Scott White, Holly, Mich.; and many treasured family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Carol White, maternal grandparents, Justin and Clara Aagvik; and paternal grandparents, George and Agnes White.
Fulkerson Funeral Home of Watford City is assisting the family with the arrangements.
