Arthur C. “Art” Smith, 83, of Mandaree, N.D., died Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.
His funeral mass was held at the Johnny Bird Veteran’s Memorial Center in the 4 Bears Village, rural New Town, N.D., at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017. Fr. Roger Cynek celebrated the mass. Wake services started at the Johnny Veteran’s Memorial Center at 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 29, 2017. Burial was in the Smith Family Cemetery, east of Mandaree.
