Helen Veseth
Helen Carroll Veseth passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her home in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
Raised on a homestead farm in North Dakota, during the Great Depression and shortages of WWII, Helen attended the University of Mary, Bismark, N.D. She obtained her nursing degree. She worked in a hospital as an RN full time and took great care of her family. Helen and John raised their family in Camarillo, Calif. but never forgot their North Dakota roots and were truly members of “The Greatest Generation.” She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother; her home cooked meals, and being a snappy dresser, a veracious reader. She loved the desert, golf and her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Kaspar Veseth, also raised in North Dakota; and is survived by her son, Michael and her daughters; Karen and Maureen.
A Mass in her honor was held Friday, March 15 at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A separate Celebration of Life will be held on March 22 at 11 a.m. in Camarillo, Calif. at the Las Posas Country Club.
