Toni Hagen

Toni Lynn Hagen passed away suddenly and unexpectedly after a brief illness, March 10, 2016, in Scottsdale, Ariz., where she had lived most of her life.
Toni was the daughter of Orvis Hagen, who grew up in Arnegard, and Claudia Byrne Hagen.
She is preceeded in death by her grandparents Orville and Astrid (Berg) Hagen who farmed in Arnegard and he served as State Senator, Lt. Governor, and became Labor Commissioner and moved to Bismarck in 1967. They returned to Watford where they resided until their deaths.
Her great-grandparents both homesteaded in the Watford area. Oscar and Carrie Hagen homesteaded just south of Watford City near Cherry Creek. Oscar became a State Senator and Lt. Governor of North Dakota. Arne and Emily Berg homesteaded south of Watford in the Spring Creek area where he was a very successful and innovative farmer.
Toni visited her relatives in North Dakota and had fun learning about life in the Dakotas. She was only 48 years old, but she lived a happy life full of innovation, invention, hard work, and her best love - boating, wakeboarding and being with friends and family.
