Last week, the Biden administration stunned the news media and many other people when it announced that it was working with Facebook to flag problematic posts that “spread disinformation on COVID-19,” as well as requesting tech companies to be more aggressive when policing what they referred to as misinformation.
When asked by a reporter what his message is to Facebook and other platforms, Biden was blunt saying, “They’re killing people.” He went on to say that “the only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated.”
Obviously Facebook pushed back on the Biden’s administration’s claims stating that the social media platform does provide accurate information. That response was not unexpected.
