I host a radio show every day called What’s On Your Mind. It’s an awesome opportunity to hear from listeners. It’s a community conversation of sorts each weekday morning. I also get a chance to share a little bit about what’s on my mind. Here’s a few of the things I’ve been pondering lately:
-Why is there a Pride Month, but only a Veteran’s Day?
-One great thing about Doug Burgum announcing his candidacy for President of the United States is his plan to highlight his roots in Arthur, North Dakota. He talks often about building a world-class company with small town people all across North Dakota. Small towns are the best of America. When was the last time the main theme of a presidential campaign was small towns? This could very well be his edge in a crowded field of Republican candidates, and it’s high time we remind the rest of America about small town values.
