There is no shortage of bad news these days. Do you ever wonder where the good news is? While the perception can sometimes lead us to believe that there is more bad than good in this world, maybe we just need to look a little closer. There is goodness among us and we should celebrate it.
I’d like to share a story about an inspiring and busy high school student from Watford City, North Dakota. His name is Aiden Pelton, son of Aaron and Angie Pelton. He was recognized by Governor Doug Burgum at the seventh annual Governor’s Summit on Innovative Education in West Fargo recently. Aiden, who will be a Junior at Watford City High School this fall, was given the “Student Leadership Award.”
