Alexander woman dies in two-vehicle accident on U.S. 85

A 41-year-old Alexander woman died as the result of injuries she sustained, while a 34-year-old Watford City woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 10:23 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, on U.S. Highway 85.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Rebecca Lewis was traveling southbound on the highway, seven miles north of Alexander, in a 2008 Nissan Versa. She crossed the median and entered the northbound lane where her vehicle stuck a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander being driven by Aubrey Davis Webster head-on.
