All Around Feed & Supply named “Friend of 4-H” at McKenzie County 4-H Annual Recognition Event
4-H members, leaders, parents and guests throughout McKenzie County were on hand for the 72nd Annual McKenzie County 4-H Awards Program held Sunday, November 2 at the McKenzie County Ag Expo in Watford City.
Receiving the “Friend of 4-H Award” this year was All Around Feed & Supply of Watford City. We thank Tim Fjeldahl and his staff for their unwavering support of the McKenzie County 4-H program. Over the years, they have hosted livestock feeding education meetings for 4-H clubs, donated animal supplies, provided county fair incentives to all livestock exhibitors and purchased numerous market animals at the annual 4-H livestock sale. Beyond their financial support, All Around Feed continues to support 4-H through encouragement and volunteering their time at 4-H events and activities. This partnership has helped ensure 4-H remains a strong and positive youth development program in our community.
Receiving the 4-H Alumni Award was Shannon Faller of Arnegard. Shannon was a McKenzie County nine-year member of the Cowtown Cowboys 4-H Club. She participated in numerous static and livestock projects. Shannon was very involved in consumer choice judging, fashion revue, food fair and demonstrations. She has been a 4-H club leader for the past 13 years and started the Star 3 4-H Club. She was the 4-H council president for many years and continues to serve as one of our county 4-H volunteer leaders. Shannon is always willing to support the 4-H program, extension staff and 4-H families.
In addition to these awards, 4-H project/activity awards were presented to 4-H members recognizing their outstanding work over the past year.
