Annual Report: Watford City Police Department reports busy year, community focus in 2025

The Watford City Police Department released its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year marked by steady call volumes, expanded community engagement, and continued investments in officer training and equipment.
According to the report, the department responded to 13,204 calls for service in 2025, an increase from 12,667 calls in 2024, though still below the peak of 15,420 calls in 2023. The department also handled 1,638 criminal cases throughout the year.
Police officials noted that the average call length has steadily increased over the past five years, reaching 56.75 minutes per call in 2025, up from about 39 minutes in 2021, reflecting more complex incidents and longer investigative demands on officers.
