Area newcomers welcomed for informative event

If you are new to Watford City and the surrounding area, or perhaps just want to learn more about what to do or how to get involved, get ready to mark your calendar as the McKenzie County Economic Development hosts ‘Living and Thriving in McKenzie County’ on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Watford City’s Rough Rider Center from 6 to 8 p.m.
The main purpose of the event is to inform community members of the many different tips and tricks for living a fulfilling life in McKenzie County. In addition, learn about events and recreational opportunities to seize as well.
“This will allow an opportunity for people new to the community or people just looking to get more involved, to learn about the opportunities there are for different groups and activities,” says Daniel Stenberg, McKenzie County Economic Development director.
