The Arnegard Rural Fire Department (ARFD) stayed busy throughout 2025, responding to nearly 90 emergency calls while continuing to serve the community through training, meetings and public events.
According to department officials, ARFD responded to 89 total calls for service during the year, including 50 fire-related incidents and 39 emergency medical calls. The total represents five fewer calls than in 2024, but still reflects a steady demand for emergency services in the district.
In addition to incidents within its response area, the department also assisted neighboring agencies on seven mutual aid calls outside the district, highlighting the cooperative role local fire departments play in protecting communities across the region.
