City of Watford City launches official social media presence during City Government Week
The City of Watford City is excited to announce the launch of its official social media accounts today,coinciding with the start of the North Dakota League of Cities City Government Week April 7-11.Residents and visitors can now follow the official “City of Watford City” page for up-to-date information onall aspects of city governance. This dedicated platform will serve as a primary source for importantannouncements, including meeting notices, road closures, bid opportunities, and much more. “The goal is to enhance transparency and provide a reliable channel for timely and accurate informationregarding city news, events, services, and ongoing initiatives.” stated City of Watford City Marketing and Communications Coordinator Brock White. “Working together with McKenzie County Tourism, we hope tomake these changes seamless and easy for residents and guests to follow along with.” This launch also marks a change for the existing social media presence. The page previously known as”Watford City, North Dakota” has transitioned to “Hello Watford City, The Official Page of McKenzie CountyTourism.” This separate page will continue to be the go-to source for information on events, attractions, andall the exciting things to see and do throughout Watford City and McKenzie County.The shared YouTube page of @WatfordCity will continue in its current form, and serve as the hub for TheLiving In McKenzie County Podcast and other original content developed by The City of Watford City andMcKenzie County Tourism.
