City ready to take on mosquito outbreak

Due to extremely dry conditions this spring mosquitoes were not much of a problem in and around Watford City. But according to Justin Smith, Watford City Public Works director, the June rains have changed that scenario as the city is ready to take on the recent outbreak of mosquitoes.
“We have a plan,” stated Smith. “We will be starting our adulticide and ground fogging operations this week.”
