Drilling picking up

With oil prices climbing to their highest levels in the past two years, drilling activity is picking up in the state’s oil patch, according to Lynn Helms, North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources director. During his monthly Director’s Cut on Monday, June 14, Helms noted that the state’s rig count was standing at 20, an increase of two from May.
