FEC Complaint filed against North Dakota PAC groups

A complaint was filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on May 5, by Bismarck resident Lance Hagen. The complaint calls for an investigation into two political fundraising organizations that allegedly violated federal campaign laws.
The complaint also alleges that Rep. Brandon Prichard used two super PACs (political action committees) for his personal and financial gain. The two organizations named are the PAC YR Victory Fund and the super PAC Citizens Alliance of North Dakota. Prichard serves as treasurer of the super PAC YR Victory Fund and executive director of the super PAC Citizens Alliance of North Dakota. According to FEC records, both political action committees were registered in the summer of 2023.
