Alfred Lee Clark from Cody, Wyo., was arrested following a high-speed chase that impacted both McKenzie and Billings Counties. He was charged with five Class C felonies and one Class B misdemeanor.
According to the affidavit filed with the Northwest Judicial District, on Thursday, June 27, a deputy with the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) observed a black 2020 GMC Sierra driving at a high rate of speed and, using his radar, found the vehicle to be traveling at 78 mph on Highway 85 in an area with a speed limit of 65 mph.
The deputy activated his red and blue emergency lights in an attempt to stop the driver; however, the driver, later identified as Clark, increased his speed and attempted to elude officers.
