Law enforcement respond to 911 calls: one male pronounced dead

The Watford City Police Department (WCPD) responded to a 911 call reporting there was a male requiring medical assistance at the Little Missouri Inn & Suites last Friday morning.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers immediately rendered aid. The male was transported by the McKenzie County Ambulance Service to the McKenzie County Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Last Saturday at approximately 5:03 a.m., the WCPD responded to the McKenzie Park Apartment building following a 911 call of a male who needed attention for self-inflicted knife wounds.
Upon Arrival, officers had to restrain the male in order to render medical aid.
The male was transported by ambulance to the McKenzie County Hospital, where he received further treatment for his injuries.
At the time of press, the status of this male was unknown to law enforcement.
Detectives are continuing to investigate both incidents, The Farmer will provide updates as they become available.
