Main Street Summit to bring two internationally known speakers to Watford City

The Office of North Dakota Governor, Doug Burgam, is preparing to host the annual Main Street Summit (MSS) in Watford City Aug. 27-29. This is the first time the summit has been held in western North Dakota, as well as the first time the Summit is being held at a city the size of Watford City.
Community and Business Development Director of City of Watford City, Vawnita Best added, “MSS is a convening of people who care about their communities and North Dakota. There are four pillars of Governor Burgum’s Main Street Initiative to Strengthen North Dakota Community: 1. Smart, Efficient Infrastructure; 2. 21st Century Workforce; 3. Economic Diversification; 4. Healthy, Vibrant Communities. The Summit celebrates communities and stacks a power packed agenda and lineup of dynamic speakers sharing on topics to unleash the power of North Dakota’s communities!”
During the summit there will be four keynote speakers that will focus on promoting Governor Doug Burgum’s Main Street Initiative to Strengthen North Dakota.
