McKenzie County Commissioners approve updated Land Development Ordinance

During the July 16, McKenzie County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting, there was a unanimous vote to approve the McKenzie County Land Development Ordinance as presented by the McKenzie County Planning and Zoning Board.
Earlier this year, the Planning and Zoning Board began a project to review the McKenzie County Land Development Ordinance. The goal of the review was to make changes to the existing ordinances to reflect the current needs of the county, as well as to clarify and refine the existing articles.
There have been a series of Planning and Zoning meetings to discuss the ordinances, and the public has been invited to each one. Recordings of many of those are still available through the county’s website for the public to review.
