McKenzie County honors six first responders

Every year McKenzie County honors their First Responders with an appreciation banquet and golf scramble and this year’s event was held on Wednesday, June 8. At this year’s banquet, six responders were named as a ‘Responder of the Year’ in the divisions of law enforcement, corrections, EMS and fire and rescue.
EMS member Patty Aipperspach was nominated as a First Responder of the Year by two co-workers who noted the countless time and effort she has dedicated to training other EMS personnel.
“Patty always makes sure that all providers, whether they be EMS, law enforcement or firefighters have all the training needed to recertify,” wrote Tana Hinricken of the McKenzie County Ambulance Service.
