McKenzie County Planning and Zoning addresses changes at open house

McKenzie County Planning and Zoning Department held an open house for the public as an informational event designed to explain what changes are happening with the Planning and Zoning Department ordinance update project currently underway. This is an extensive project that aims to modernize the planning and zoning ordinances that have been in place, in some instances, for more than a decade.
According to the information at the meeting, “The existing Zoning Ordinance was first developed in 2013 and has since had various changes, but there has not been a comprehensive review and update until now.”
