Meeting on cloud seeding set for February

A meeting for the North Dakota Cloud Modification Project (NDCMP), also known as cloud seeding, will be held for area residents and officials on Feb. 6, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Williams County Administration Building, in the third floor training room, in Williston, N.D. In addition to attending the meeting in person, the public is invited to join through a call-in option, or through video conferencing.
“This is a great opportunity for the public to come get educated about this and gain some really good information,” McKenzie County Commissioner Kathy Skarda said during the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting on Jan. 2.
The meeting is a public information meeting, where members of NDCMP will share data from the 2023 season, as well as look at the potential future of the project.
