New building gives American Legion room to grow

Members of Watford City’s American Legion Carl E. Rogen Post #29 are no longer going to have to climb up and down the basement steps to attend their monthly meetings in cramped quarters as the post has moved to a new location.
“All of our meetings were in the basement of the American Legion Club on Main Street,” says Glenn Wahus, Post Adjutant. “It was hard for our members, especially the older members to go up and down those stairs. And it really didn’t have enough room for what we wanted to do.”
