New JDA Board members excited to help McKenzie County grow

When Peter Edis and his wife arrived in Watford City on Dec. 30, 2021, it was 2:00 a.m. and -26 degrees. They quickly unloaded what they needed to and went to bed. At 9:00 a.m. the next morning, Edis arrived at work, ready to start his new job as the Chief Executive Officer of McKenzie County Healthcare Systems, Inc.
Since that day, Edis has not only been volunteering on the Economic Development Corporation (EDC), but he has now decided to join the McKenzie County Job Development Authority (JDA) to continue to improve the community he has grown to love.
