North Dakota State Representative Jeremy Olson announced his intention to run for reelection in District 26, which covers all of McKenzie County and part of Dunn County.
Olson is currently in his first term, but has already had some major bills he sponsored signed into law. One of these was HB1272, which he describes as a “bill to create enhanced oil recovery potential status for oil wells to help ensure that the state and landowners are able to get the full potential out of wells. [He also sponsored] a bill to further enhance cooperation with Game and Fish for habitat development as well as creating special antlerless elk depredation management licenses for landowners in certain areas (HB1260). Both bills received broad, bipartisan support and were signed into law.”
