Riding in memory of Coy

It is safe to say that in his 14 short years of life, Coy Hepper touched the lives of hundreds of people in the rodeo community and throughout the state of North Dakota through his involvement in rodeo, wrestling and other high school activities.
So it was not surprising to see professional, high school and junior high rodeo contestants turn out to compete in the 1st Annual Coy Hepper Memorial Rodeo at the McKenzie County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Aug. 28, to honor Hepper, who died on June 4.
