Schmitz, Gronos compete at state speech competition

Tricia Schmitz, an 8th grader from Watford City Middle School and Chloe Gronos, a freshman from Watford City High School, recently competed in the 68th Annual NDHSAA-sponsored State Class A Speech Tournament in Mandan, N.D., on April 24.
Schmitz competed in speech to persuade, while Gronos competed in dramatic interpretation and poetry. Gronos took sixth place in poetry and fifth place in dramatic.
