School district prepares for new students

It is once again time for parents and children in McKenzie County to start preparing for students to return to the classrooms. To make things easier for our community members, The Farmer has compiled a list of information for all of the need-to-know information across the county.
East Fairview
The first day of school will be Wednesday, Aug. 16.
East Fairview’s Open House will be held Thursday, Sept. 21, from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Registration deadlines: Registration is now open. Please call 701-844-5649 to schedule an appointment.
What is new? The new Junior High wing will be opening this year and the new kitchen facilities are ready to go. Construction on the entrance and administrative areas of the building is still ongoing, but shouldn’t be any hindrance for students or staff.
Special notes from administration: “We have small class sizes, high test scores, accreditation scores well above the requirements, and a four-day school week. We are so excited to get everyone back to school! We missed you!”
