School moves ahead with Bakken Area Skills Center

With its final installment of a $10 million grant from the North Dakota Department of Career and Technical Education in hand, the McKenzie County Public School District No. 1 School Board approved moving forward with the construction of the Bakken Area Skills Center during a special meeting on Thursday, March 24.
“We are very pleased to finally have received the final $3,333,334 portion of the $10 million grant,” stated Steve Holen, district superintendent. “We now have all of the $20 million needed to move the project forward.”
