Texas man suffers life-threatening injuries in roll over crash

On Thursday, April 20, at approximately 7:37 a.m., a 26 year-old male from Buda, Texas, sustained serious, life-threatening injuries during a one-vehicle roll over on Highway 73, approximately 18 miles east of Watford City.
According to the crash report release by the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver lost control of his Jeep while traveling westbound on Hwy. 73 and entered the south ditch and rolled. Safety restraints were not in use and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to the McKenzie County Hospital, then flown to Trinity Health in Minot.
Agencies who assisted the N.D. Highway Patrol were the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office, Mandaree Ambulance, McKenzie County Ambulance, Sanford AirMed, Keene Fire Department and the Quick Response Unit.
The crash remains under investigation by the N.D. Highway Patrol.
