Veeder appointed to State Water Commission board

Gene Veeder, a McKenzie County rancher and a board member for the McKenzie County Job Development Authority and former county commissioner, has been appointed by North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum to serve on the North Dakota State Water Commission.
Veeder will represent the Upper Missouri River Basin.
“Water is an important issue and I’m interested in developing the Missouri River to help meet the state’s needs,” stated Veeder. “I’m looking forward to being able to address the water issues in our region.”
