The North Dakota Attorney General’s Office has released the 2023 crime statistics for the state of North Dakota, as well as the reports for the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Watford City Police Department (WCPD).
In his address on June 20, State Attorney General Drew Wrigley explained that the reports compiled by his office were comprehensive of all data up to that date for 2023. He mentioned that there may be some changes as cases proceed through the judicial system, but the reports released are the most comprehensive look at crimes within the state, as well as in the individual departmental jurisdictions.
As part of an in-depth look into area crime trends, this is the final part of a three part series that The Farmer will be covering.
