Warren charged with luring minors

Kenneth Keith Warren was charged on Feb. 7, with a Class C Felony for Luring minors by computer-defendant under 22, believes victim under 15; Four Class C Felonies for Failure to register as a sexual offender; and a Class C Felony of Possession of certain materials prohibited.
According to documents filed with Northwest Judicial District, the 19 year-old’s arrest and subsequent charges stemmed from an undercover chat operation via a social media platform posing as a 12-year-old female. Law enforcement was chatting with a user believed to be Warren, who is a known registered sexual offender in McKenzie County.
Warren is required to register as a sexual offender with the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) after being convicted of possessing and disseminating Child Sexual Abuse Material, commonly known as child pornography.
The user referred to himself as “Kenneth,” being 19 years old, living north of Watford City, and working as a pizza delivery driver. All of those descriptors are identical to Warren. While law enforcement was chatting with Warren, he sent a photograph of himself, which officers recognized as Warren from previous contact.
