Students at Watford City High School have been working hard to prepare for their second Cultural Festival, which will be held at the Rough Rider Center on Wednesday, Oct. 25. This event will take place after the conclusion of the Main Street Summit, both summit participants and the public have been invited to attend.
According to Amy Polivka, WCHS High School Ambassador advisor, the festival will be free thanks to the multicultural inclusion grants of the Long X Arts Foundation and Vision West Consortium. She also stated that the Rough Rider Fund is also helping with funding for the festival.
“We have around 25 students that are helping to put this together, along with a number of individuals from the community,” said high school student Aidan Pelton. These students are mostly part of the Watford City High School Student Ambassadors.
