Youth Fishing Derby was big hit for youngsters and parents

While the weather was nice and warm last Saturday, the fish were hot and cold as some children caught several fish and others caught none at the 17th Annual Children’s Fishing Derby held at Watford City’s Kent Pelton Nature Park on June 5.
“She caught her first fish and now she’s in la-la land,” laughed Scott Haugen of his granddaughter, Nora.
