Barbara Mueller

Barbara “Barb” Mueller, 66, received the biggest angel wings on Friday, July 12, 2019, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.
Barb was born on April 29, 1953, in Watford City, N.D., to Norman and Evelyn Berg. She graduated from Watford City High School in 1971 and went on to attend UND-Williston.
In 1972, Barb, along with her best friend, Lora Wehrung, packed up and moved to Fargo, N.D. Soon after, she met Ron Mueller and they were united in marriage on Nov. 24, 1973. In 1978 they purchased their new home in Mapleton, N.D., where they raised their two daughters, Kelly and Kayla. In 2002, her grandson Jaden was born and immediately became the light of her life. For 16 years, the strong bond between them grew to be unbreakable.
In 2006, Barb and Ron moved to Fargo, N.D., and in time bought a condo with her favorite view of a sitting park with large, beautiful trees. She came to love her bird feeder and watching the birds bathe in her birdbath that Kayla and Kelly got for her this past Mother’s Day.
All the prayers and kind words these past few years meant the world to her. She had a huge support team cheering her on throughout her courageous battle. She was so loved by everyone she knew.
Barb is survived by her husband, Ron; her daughters, Kelly (Isaac Johnson) Mueller, Kayla (Brandon Pekas) Mueller and her forever favorite, her grandson, Jaden Mueller; her siblings, Gloria (Mark) Sanford, Joanne (late W. Gordon) Christianson, Kenneth (Milana) Berg, Gordon (Ladonna) Berg, Darrell (Evelyn) Berg, Wayne (Connie Beal) Berg, David (Celeste) Berg, Arden Berg and James (Kimberlye) Berg.
Barb was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Froholm; father, Norman Berg; brother, Bradley Berg; step-father, Orvin Froholm; and her nephew, Michael Berg.
