Christina H. Seibold was born May 13, 1919, the youngest of thirteen children, to Lawrence and Minnie (Beilke ) Kummer on the family homestead near Croff, N.D. She was raised on the family farm and was educated in a rural school. She was baptized and confirmed in the Redeemer Lutheran Church. At an early age, Tina and her sister, Emma, helped raise three of their nephews, due to the death of their sister, Bertha.
On Oct. 28, 1949, Tina was united in marriage to Milton Seibold at Glendive, Mont. It was a double wedding with her sister, Emma, and Lorraine Veeder. The couple made their home on the Turnquist place, south of Arnegard, N.D., in the Red Wing community for a few years, where they helped with ranching efforts before moving to Watford City. Tina focused her energy on her family and, after her children were well raised, took a job at Carl’s Bakery in Watford City.
Tina enjoyed visiting and playing cards and games with her family and friends. She enjoyed fishing and campfires. She loved her flowers and had a green thumb with them. Tina enjoyed spending time with her sister, Emma, canning the garden vegetables that they raised. Tina was still canning and making her buns at the age of 90.
Tina is survived by her son, Gary Seibold of Billings, Mont.; daughter, Debbie Aragon of Watford City; stepson, Lloyd Seibold of Athol, Idaho; five grandchildren, Terry, Tommy, Chad, Justin and Sherri; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Emma Veeder of Watford City, N.D.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milton; grandson, Jeff; son-in-law, Mark; five brothers; and six sisters.
