Donna Johnson
Donna Mae Syverson Johnson of Watford City, N.D., died Thursday March 10, 2016, at her home in Fort Mohave, Ariz.
Donna was born July 9, 1941, at a midwives house in Watford City, N.D. The daughter of Clarence and Nora (Gunderson) Syverson.
She attended school in Watford City, N.D.
She married Dennis Garmann and together they moved to Las Vegas, Nev. where she became a nurse and also had a column in the Valley Times Paper. Later she moved back to Watford City, N.D. where she met and married Wallace Johnson.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace Johnson; son, James Edward Garmann (Angi) of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Tina Marie (Garmann) McCauley (Dan) of Meadview, Ariz.; Stepsons, Troy Johnson (Charity) of Williston, N.D., Doran Johnson of San Diego, Calif.; Stepdaughter, Tori Johnson of Kansas City, Mo.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A brother, Floyde Syverson of Watford City, N.D.; two sisters, Carol (Tom) Gunter of Livingston, Texas, and Dixie (Jim) Lang of Sumerset, S.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ronald Garmann; stepdaughter, Dawn Schmidt; and brother, Lyle.
Memorial services will be held July 5, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Glory of the Lord Family Ministries with Pastor Barb Becker officiating.
