Donna Pratt

Donna Lee Pratt, 67, of Gibsonburg, Ohio, died on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at her home after a 21-year battle with cancer. She was born in Lemmon, S.D., on June 7, 1943, to William and LaVanche (Travers) Maloney.
Donna graduated from Watford City High School in 1961, and attended North Dakota State University for two years.
On Aug. 26, 1966, she married Michael V. Pratt in Kitzmiller, Md., and he survives in Gibsonburg.
She worked at several different businesses throughout her lifetime: as a bookkeeper and legal assistant, as branch manager at State Home Savings & Loan, and most recently at Osterman Jewelers in Fremont. Donna also worked for Jim Taylor Law Office as a legal assistant.
Donna was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Gibsonburg, the Daughters of the American Revolution, Women’s Jr. Federation, and the Gibsonburg American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing crafts, needlework and flower arranging. She loved spending time camping, shopping and supervising Mike in the garden, but her favorite pastime was being with her grandchildren and attending their events.
Along with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Lisa (Kurt) Timmons of Burgoon, and Michael Pratt of Toledo, Donna is also survived by her mother; siblings, LaVonne (Ron) Havener, Draper, Utah, and Judy (Ted) Ward, Billings, Mont.; and five grandchildren, Derik, Sarah, Colin, Elijah, and Liam, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
