Elizabeth Trollope

Services were held April 28, 2018 in Mesa, Ariz., for Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Avery Trollope, 75, who passed away April 23, 2018, at her home in Apache Junction, Ariz.
She was born November 2, 1942, on the Avery Homestead near Banks, N.D., to Harry and Mary Bulot Avery. Betty attended the Schafer School and Watford City Schools. She moved to Arizona in 1963.
Betty’s love of gardening and music was passed on to her children. She tended her garden until the day she passed. Her passion for playing the piano will always be remembered by those who enjoyed listening to her graceful tunes. Betty also loved to sew and made quilts and most of her children’s clothing as they were growing up. Betty loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally. They were the light of her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. We will miss her smile, encouraging words and unwavering devotion to her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Edward Trollope; her brothers Vernon, Donald and Herbert Avery; and sisters, Ethel McKay, Susan Morin and Kathi Ereth.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Mary Andrews and Carol Echols; and her nephew, Robert (Bobby) Avery; her children, Vickie Lee (Craig) Davis, Robert (Phyllis) Dyer, David (Barbara) Trollope and Tamara (Jackie) Baxter; along with 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, her greatest legacy.
