Lorraine Klamm, 99, of Watford City passed away Oct. 9, 2021, at the Good Shepherd Home in Watford City. She was born July 20, 1922, to Lee and Rose (Hamak) Wagner in Loyalton, S.D., She graduated from Ipswich High School, attended Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. for 1 year and attended Wesleyan College in Marion, Ind., for 2½ years. Lorraine worked for the ASC office as a secretary for 20 years and also worked for Johnson Corners Christian Academy as a secretary and bookkeeper.
Lorraine was a member of the Johnson Corners Wesleyan Church serving as treasurer and enjoyed playing the piano and organ and was a song evangelist. She loved watching basketball, and was an avid Watford City Wolves fan over the years.
She is survived by her daughter, Resa Hanneman (Robert) of Denver City, Texas; brothers, Darrell Wagner (Ruby) of Rapid City, S.D., and Wesley Wagner (Pat) of Greeley, Colo.; grandchildren, Robert Hanneman Jr., Richard Hanneman, Rodney Hanneman, John Paul Klamm, Travis Klamm and Mandy Rink; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, John Klamm; son, Paul John Klamm; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.
A visitation was held on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fulkerson-Stevenson Funeral Home Watford City. A memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Johnson Corners Wesleyan Church at 11012 Hwy 23, Watford City. Pastor Adrian Timmons officiated.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Lorraine’s name to the Johnson Corners Christian Academy at 11008 Hwy 23, Watford City, N.D. 58854.
