Roger Grendahl

Roger Truemen Grendahl Sr., 69, formerly of Watford City and Williston passed away March 21, 2019, at St. Alexis Hospital, Dickinson, N.D.

He had many stories to share about the oilfield and there were many people he met along this journey. He worked hard and loved his job. Roger had a presence about him that filled a room. You always knew where you stood with him. He was quick to let you know. Roger was known for dubbing nicknames to everyone he met. He loved being around people and always enjoyed reminiscing his rowdy days.
On June 14, 1979, Roger married Deb Miller. Roger and Deb had three children Lisa, Roger Jr. and Aaron.
In 1998, Roger was injured in an oilfield accident. This was a turning point in his life. No longer able to work, he lived life to the fullest.
