Alexander Football sees two players named to All-State

Jadon Champion named to All-State First Team, Corey Getzlaff named to the Second Team
The 9-Man Football head coaches recently made their North Dakota High School Coaches Association (NDHSCA) All-State Team selections recently. Two Alexander Comets made the prestigious list. “I can’t think of two kids more deserving of receiving All State recognition,” said Alexander head coach, Trey Jacobson.
Jadon Champion was named to the First Team as a defensive lineman. The senior finished his season with 28 solo tackles, 38 tackle assists, 13 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 3 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, a fumble recovery and 2 defensive touchdowns. He was also a key part of the Alexander offense that fueled the Comets to a Region 3 Title and an undefeated regular season. He caught 14 passes for 396 yards and 7 touchdowns, averaging 28.3 yards per reception.
